Low cost and low energy things I love to do!
#1 Duvet days
On a cold rainy day I love nothing more than to lay in bed wrapped up in my duvet. I have the window slightly open and listen to the rainfall, smell the fresh air waft in and listen to the birds twittering away whilst they shelter in my oak tree. I love the smell of the air when it has been raining it is so fresh and revitalising. It is great to be able to enjoy a little bit of nature even if I am unable to leave bed that day.
#2 Watching Storms
Another one related to the weather is watching thunderstorms with my dad. We will sit in my parents conservatory with the doors open and lights out. Sipping on gallons of tea, chatting about really random things enjoying the light show. My dad and I tend to both go off on a tangent when chatting so our conversations are always fun and interesting.
#3 Curling up with a good book
Curling up with a good book is such a excellent way to escape real life. You’re instantly transported to another time and place. You can leave all your worries behind and take on adventures beyond your wildest dreams. Amazon always have a good selection of ebooks listed for free download. I’m currently using a free trial of Kindle Unlimited to read The Corner Shop in Cockleberry Bay by Nicola May, it’s a feel good easy reading type of book.
#4 Cookie Cats Pop iPhone game
I am totally addicted to playing Cookie Cats Pop! It is super cute and not too difficult. I’ve tried the Candy Crush series of games before and would get stuck on a level for weeks which was frustrating not fun! With Cookie Cats Pop you can get free level boosts if your stuck, so there is no need to pay to pass tricky levels.
