Primark £1 Sale
Nipped into Primark for a quick look round with my nephew at the weekend and noticed nearly all of their surplus summer stock had gone on sale for just £1. In the women’s section there were loads of sun dresses, t-shirts and shorts in a veritable rainbow of colours. The kids section upstairs was completely chock-a-block with clothes in the £1 sections. Well worth checking out if you are off on a winter sun holiday or maybe even to stock up for next summers wardrobe. Whilst most of the sales stock had cute summery patterns on it, some were equally wearable for the winter season, probably only reduced because they were pastels rather than the darker autumn and winter colours the staff were stocking other shelves with.
What did I buy?
I picked up a cute little navy hoodie for my nephew to put away as a Christmas present which was reduced from £4.50 so I saved 77.7% which is my second Christmas present bargain so far this year the other can be found here. I really am loving the money saving way of life it is making me feel much less anxious and much more in control. My nephew will get a lot of use out of the hoodie and if he has a growth spurt and out grows it quickly then I have not wasted a lot of money.
Why buy Primark?
Clothes can be really very expensive, especially when you are buying for a small child who will out grow their clothes very quickly or if you want to keep up with ever changing fashion trends. A plain blue hoodie in Debenhams costs £10 which is more than double Primark’s full price cost. Little boys as well as ever growing; are messy little creatures who like to jump in puddles and roll down hills. With prices this low you can afford to allow them to indulge in their devilish side without worrying too much.
I will be heading back into Primark this week to see if any thing is left and if there is anything else worth putting away for Christmas or birthdays.
